Mark commenced teaching in September 2019, and currently teaches modules as part of three different degrees:

• BSc (Hons) Policing, Law Enforcement and Investigation undergraduate degree (Investigation Skills module, 2nd Year students)
• BSc (Hons) Policing and Criminal Investigation undergraduate degree (Counter Terrorism module, 3rd Year students)
• MSc (Hons) Counter Terrorism postgraduate degree (Investigating Terrorism module, Masters students)

Mark is an Employability Lead within the School, supporting those students who have desires to pursue careers as Investigators or Intelligence Officers, but who do not wish to become traditional Police Officers (those students are supported on other pathways). This employability effort is known as 'Operation Talent Spotting' and currently has a high rate of success.

Mark is heavily involved in the School's recruitment activities, with a desire to see students make progress from College 'Discovery Days' through to studying a relevant degree and onto employment in this sector, whereby the students 'complete the circle' over a 4 to 5 year journey.
