UCLan graduate Adam is already turning industry heads
A local fashion designer has established his own clothing brand and been successful in several industry competitions all before finishing university.
Adam Gronback, who graduated this week from the University of Central 成人视频 (UCLan), has created how own fashion brand, Agnostics, which he says is 鈥渋nspired by the hills to be worn on the streets."
Adam鈥檚 final year collection, represents the birth of the brand that will specialise in menswear, outerwear and sportswear.
"I came to UCLan with no previous design experience but with the hunger to learn and achieve. I鈥檓 looking forward to celebrating the hard work I鈥檝e put in over the last four years and making Agnostics a success. "

The 23-year-old from Leyland said: 鈥淚 came to UCLan with no previous design experience but with the hunger to learn and achieve. I鈥檓 looking forward to celebrating the hard work I鈥檝e put in over the last four years and making Agnostics a success.
鈥淎gnostics will be a contemporary streetwear brand focussing on providing, functional, stylish and comfortable garments that can be worn at any time, in any place, by anybody. I will offer customers the option to customise their pieces so that their Agnostics garments will be completely different to anyone else鈥檚.鈥
Adam is already turning fashion industry heads. Not only was his final year collection featured in the 鈥楤est of Show鈥 catwalk at London鈥檚 famous (GFW) last month, where judges select work from the university runways to return to the catwalk in front of a VIP industry panel, he was also recognised in two other prestigious GFW competitions during the final year of his BA(Hons) Fashion Design degree.

Adam was one of 15 winners of a national competition organised by GFW and Crisis; the charity behind ending homelessness, and Love Not Landfill, and saw his design sold in Crisis鈥 Brick Lane store in London. Building on this success, Adam then won a competition to be a part of the Size? Homegrown Runway Show at GFW with a chance to have his collection sold in store.
鈥淚 was incredibly proud to showcase my work at Graduate Fashion Week with influential people from the industry there to see all the talent,鈥 the former Parklands High School and Runshaw College pupil said.
鈥淢y hard work has paid off with this recognition. I also won a University award, sponsored by Creative 成人视频, for Enterprise as part of the UCLan Degree Show and was highly commended for two more. I鈥檓 very grateful to the teaching staff on my course who believed in me. It鈥檚 certainly an exciting time and I鈥檓 looking forward to the next chapter in my career.鈥
